All Fringe, No Frill

All Fringe, No Frill is back! The offerings in this line consist of washed coffees from Africa, showcasing delicate florals, bright citrus and ripe fruits. They are layered, clear coffees with a generally lighter roast.

Mustefa Abakeno is an exporter and producer focusing on continually making improvements in processing and championing varieties from the nearby Jimma research center. His use of a disk pulper and rigorous cherry selection allow him to focus on clean, complex and consistent coffees.

This lot is comprised of Ethiopian Landraces and grown at an elevation of 1850-2100 MASL, with a traditional washed process followed by drying on raised beds for up to 30 days.

In the cup, we get big peach rings. Super playful and sweet followed up by orange, black tea and jasmine. It is a great representation of a high-quality washed Ethiopia but with just enough boldness to stand out.
